The Man Behind The Mission - About Ron Firmin

Mr. Firmin has held the position of President & CEO for companies in the financial services, real estate and mortgage banking industry. He is the founder and CEO of Master Financial Services, LLC. MFS provides contract services to small companies seeking to acquire financing for various projects.

Mr. Firmin is also the President of Xrysalis Development Solutions(XDS). XDS provides consulting services and assists companies wishing to do business with low cost providers in SE Asia with emphasis on China and Taiwan. XDS is currently expanding in China providing 'sorting services' to manufacturers desiring third party assurance. From 1971 onward Mr. Firmin worked closely with banking institutions including Wachovia, First Union, Chase, Bank of America, and numerous others. His work included developing and managing major proprietary lending relationships with regional and national banks. In 2005 Mr. Firmin left the banking industry as VP of one of the nation’s major banking institutions.

He has been working as a consultant to the financial services industry as he completed his new book. In 2006 Mr. Firmin had assisted and provided his resume for The Retirement Solution, Inc. to become a public company.

For several years Mr. Firmin was National Accounts Manager for Pioneer Eclipse Corporation, an international manufacturing company. He represented Pioneer Eclipse Corporation in the United States, Canada, Mexico and led corporate level negotiations with major chains throughout North America including WalMart; Target; Sears; Kroger; Albertson's; Walgreen's; Rite Aid; Giant Eagle and Long's Drugs. His work led to the industry innovation of ‘Bundled Services' for major corporations.

Mr. Firmin was National Sales Manager for American National Home Mortgage, a 50 state mortgage banking company, for 3 years until the company was acquired. When the company was acquired, Mr. Firmin founded Skye Mortgage Group, LLC when eventually did business in over thirty-five states. The company underwrote and purchased loans from over three thousand mortgage brokers and then sold them on the secondary market.

Over the years, Mr. Firmin built two national network-marketing organizations for World Class Network and World Lending Group with distributors/agents in all 50 states & Canada . With World Class Network he achieved the position of National Marketing Director and with World Lending Group he became the top producer.

Mr. Firmin graduated from Bolton High School , Alexandria , La. in 1964 with continuing education from the American Management Association. His continuing education courses have included “National Accounts Managers” and other financial services or mortgage banking subjects. Mr. Firmin has designed and instructed classes in the fields of National Account Management and Mortgage Banking.

He has also produced an instructional package that included class materials, a 1-hour video and presentations for a nationwide launch in the mortgage banking industry. Mr. Firmin wrote and co-produced “The Consumer's Edge – Making Your Mortgage Work Harder for You”, a TV program dealing with credit, money management and cutting edge strategies while working closely with the Greater Nashville, TN Better Business Bureau. This program was the top rated segment of “The Consumer's Edge”, a locally produced TV program in the Nashville area.
